Gen is originally from Charles City, Iowa. However, she spent the majority of her childhood growing up in the black hills of South Dakota. She graduated from Eastern Wyoming College in 2008 with a degree in Veterinary Technology and joined Casper Animal Medical Center in 2008.

Gen is married, has 5 horses and 5 kitties. In her free time, Gen enjoys home life with family and her critters, horse activities, artwork, camping and hunting.
