J.T. Birkle Sr. is a proud Wyoming native, hailing from Wheatland, where he spent his formative years on a ranch and farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals. His lifelong love for animals, cultivated during his upbringing, has been a constant throughout his journey.

In 2003, J.T. embarked on a distinguished 20-year career in the United States Navy, rising to the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer (E-8) before his recent honorable retirement. During his military service, J.T. served as a Hospital Corpsman/Fleet Marine Force Corpsman, providing dedicated healthcare to Sailors and Marines. He undertook three Combat tours in Iraq, showcasing not only his commitment to duty but also his resilience and leadership. While in the medical field, J.T. discovered his passion for Healthcare Administration and Management, and in 2017, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Purdue Global University.

In January 2024, J.T. brought his wealth of experience and skills to our team, seamlessly blending his healthcare background with his enduring love for animals. His unique combination of military discipline, healthcare expertise, and genuine passion makes him an invaluable asset to our organization.

Beyond his professional pursuits, J.T. finds joy in exploring new areas or revisiting old favorites during car trips with his wife, Bonnie. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys fishing, hunting, camping, and shooting guns. His interests also extend to the thrill of motorcycle rides and the excitement of watching football, hockey, and UFC matches.

J.T. is not only committed to his work but is also deeply devoted to his family. He and Bonnie cherish their two grown sons and share their home with three beloved cats, soon to be joined by a new canine companion. Returning to Casper and his home state of Wyoming, J.T. is thrilled to serve his community and contribute to the well-being of both people and animals alike.
